Hey y'all!
So summer is almost over! :( I go back to school a week from today!
Through various trips this summer, to a Christian camp and a missions trip, God has really hit me. I realized that everything that has happened to me in my life IS for a purpose. And on my missions trip I realized how many people just live in sin thinking that God doesn't want them. I had a chance to speak to people at the Salvation Army and God really spoke through me. I could feel that these people had been through so much, and I gave them the good news that no matter what what life's done to them and no matter what they've done, God is there waiting with His arms wide open. That's not just a message for the people of Butler, but for everyone.

Writing
Heyy!!
Sorry it's been a while! I've been soooo busy with school and all I haven't had the chance to write. But, I just wanted to share something with y'all that I wrote. It's a poem called "Light in the Darkness"
She walks around
In a world of self pity
Thinking everyone hates her
And that she’s not pretty
School is a living hell
And break is heaven on earth
To a girl who has no confidence
And feels no self-worth
She sees the perfect women
On the covers of magazines
Her self-esteem crashes
She doesn’t want to be seen
Being around people
Being off by herself
Isn’t a picnic
When there’s no one to help
It takes all of her strength
To get out of bed each day
To be around people
And find things to say
She goes to bed at night
Thinking about getting up tomorrow
Doing it all over again
And her heart’s filled with sorrow
The only thing that’s keeping her
From ending her life
Is her friends that surround her
And show her the light
So be that friend
In her darkness, be that light
And it’s possible that one day
You might save a life
I hope y'all like it. I had some inspiration for this a couple weeks ago, but God just gave me the words about an hour ago! ;)
Love you guys!! Remember that God loves you and you are ALL his princesses!
